Serves: 2
- For the marinade
- 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- ½ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon Chilli Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 240g King Prawns
- For the stir fry
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil (or sunflower oil)
- 1 Onion
- 2 Cloves Crushed Garlic
- 1 Pepper
- 150g Broccoli
- 1 Carrot
- Handful of Runner Beans
- 2 Teaspoon Sesame Seed Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Chilli Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- First you need to marinade your prawns. In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, ground ginger, chilli flakes and honey.
- Add the prawns and give them a good mix in the marinade. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave for at least 30 mins, the longer the better though!
- Chop up all of your vegetables (I like to grate carrots for stir fries, long thick slices).
- Heat up the coconut oil and add the chopped onion and garlic. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and runner beans. Fry for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the sesame seed oil, chilli flakes, soy sauce, honey and stir.
- Add the prawns along with all the marinade.
- Add the carrot and fry everything for 5 minutes.
- Serve your stir fry with enough noodles for 2 people.
