Ingredients
  • 500g Minced Beef
  • 1 Onion (finley diced)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
  • 2 Carrots (finely diced)
  • A handful of mushrooms (finely diced)
  • 500g Passata
  • 1 Beef Stock Cube
  • A good pinch of fresh Oregano (or teaspoon dried)
  • A good pinch of fresh Basil (or teaspoon dried)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Pasta to serve
Instructions
  1. Add your mince, onion, garlic, carrots and mushrooms to the slow cooker and stir.
  2. Cover this with the passata and crumble over a stock cube. Mix it all together.
  3. Add the oregano, basil and season.
  4. You can add a little water if you like, but making sure it lightly covers your mince mix. Too much water will lead to a watery bolognese. Stir everything once more.
  5. Leave to cook on low for 8 hours. Stirring once halfway through if needed. Serve with delicious fresh spaghetti.
